Queen Chrysalis Custom by Nevi-Lamina Queen Chrysalis Custom by Nevi-Lamina

Changed because I wanted a simple one shot picture of her for your viewing pleasure. The link above is the same picture that was up earlier.
End Edit

She's complete!!

5-6 hours of sculpting and 3 hours of painting!

Some blood spilled and a lot of fun~

I will NOT be selling her. BUT! I might, if the price is right, make Blind Bag versions. I also want to make a example/one to put on Ebay in the next few days. Which BB mold would you guys like? Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack? No matter which is chosen I will be taking mane, tail, ears, wings, and horns off. For RD and AJ, Twi, Rari, and PP molds all legs touching the ground will be lengthened, as long as it doesn't look horrid, and in the lengthened area would have holes, like she should have.

I read through all the comments before posting this but

omg great job! ^o^/

If you want to make the holes without using a drill, I was going to suggest metal/wood rods and sculpt the legs around them so after you bake it you can just pull out the rods and yay holes lol

That or they do make small hand-drills just takes a while... e_e (personally I just used a power drill with a small drill lol)

Thank you so much!

I have actually borrowed my uncle's power drill and tried to drill holes and amazingly it was success! Oddly enough I had to use a much bigger drill bit than I thought in order to really see she had holes :)

You sculpted this from scratch?

:iconnevi-lamina:

Not completely. She's a modded Celestia molded hair base. I only made the wings, horn, ears, crown thingy/plume, mane, and tail. I modded her hooves then baked and painted her.

You can check out my Luna custom and see the base I used. The only difference between my Luna and the Hasbro molded hair Celestia is the paint. [link]

Amazing sculpt!
I noticed that you're having problems with making the holes. You could simply make the illusion of holes. Paint white circles and shade it with grey and black to give the illusion on space . It'll work and you don't have to be afraid of cracking that beautiful sculpture ^^. And on a side note I especially love how you did the wings ^^

That might work, I might try doing it on black paper first and see if I'm talented enough to paint shading :)

Thank you!
